About Abby

profile match picI am a natural born STYLIST! I started doing hair at the age of 11. Coloring my friends and families hair was my hobby. Throughout high school I managed a salon in town and became friends with the stylists there and they showed me their tricks. After high school I attended Springfield College of Beauty. I recieved my full license. I knew I wanted to apprentice under the top stylist in town Blu Clark!  I apprenticed for 1 year and went to several hair classes and shows. Blu and I got invited by Unite to attend NY Fashion week to assist back stage with models hair. This was one of my proudest moments! Worked with KVAL News on a segment for women that needed a makeover. Terri E. was the Winner! She was so fun to work with. (pic on website)

I donate a complimentary haircut and style to local women’s shelters. This is a real treat for women that haven’t been pampered in a long time. An extra boost of self esteem and encouragement when they are ready to go out and start their new life.

Work with the new sorority Freshmen to help them get comfortable with college life and themselves. On a weekend I invite my stylist friends to a sorority and we show the girls easy ways to style their hair and makeup. I really enjoy being able to share my techniques with these girls so that they can feel more confident and secure women. And of course some chair therapy over their 4 yrs with me. lol

My main priority with all my clients is that we are able to communicate on what exactly you want while keeping the integrity of your hair. I always make sure my clients understand what I am doing. Its so important that my clients know what products they need to use and how they can recreate the look I give them at home. I am always available to my clients for any questions comments concerns they have with their hair. Im truely dedicated to my profession and I am lucky to say I have the nicest clients around.
